Against All Odds: Pittsburgh SportsNation's Vegas Picks

By Mike Drakulich, Pittsburgh SportsNation

Week 2 features several exciting match-ups and Pittsburgh SportsNation is ready to improve on it's 6-4 record to start off the season. My competition, my dad (Sr), went 3-7.

I have to admit complete shock in Green Bay's showing vs the 49ers, who I know are good, but I didn't expect them to be that good, this early, especially debuting up at Lambeau.

But, that's football, so expect the unexpected from time to time.

All of the local teams are playing this week in NCAA, so we'll go with the best two remaining games left, which both should be a doozy to watch. All Odds are of Wednesday afternoon.

It's time for Week 2:

NCAA

(2-0) Virginia Tech (-10.5) over Pitt (0-2) ...Sr takes Virginia Tech

(0-2) Penn State (-5.5) over Navy (0-1) ...Sr takes Navy

(2-0) West Virginia (-49.5) over James Madison** ...Sr takes West Virginia

(2-0) Florida (+3) over Tennessee (2-0) ...Sr takes Florida

(2-0) Stanford (+8) over USC (2-0) ...Sr takes USC

(**WVU-James Madison will be played at FedEx Field in Landover, MD)

NFL

(1-0) Pittsburgh (-7) over NY Jets (1-0) ...Sr takes Pittsburgh

(1-0) Baltimore (+1) over Philadelphia (1-0) ...Sr takes Philadelphia

(0-1) New Orleans (-2.5) over Carolina (0-1) ...Sr takes Carolina

(1-0) Dallas (-3) over Seattle (0-1) ...Sr takes Dallas

(1-0) Detroit (+7) over San Francisco (1-0) ...Sr takes Detroit
