Against All Odds: Pittsburgh SportsNation's Vegas Picks

By Mike Drakulich, Pittsburgh SportsNation

Just like Steeler's offense, both myself and my dad (Senior) fared quite well in last week's picks, especially a 7-3 effort by the ole man, which could have been really special if he hadn't dropped the last three games!

Now we enter the dog days of the NCAA season and the 2nd half of the NFL schedule, so certain teams are starting to establish themselves from the others--well, other than WVU--but perhaps PSN can get a victorious pick from the Mountaineers this week.

Let's see what Week 9 has for us:

NCAA

(4-4) Pitt (+17) over 4 Notre Dame (8-0) ...Sr picks Pitt

(5-3) TCU (+6.5) over 23 WVU (5-2) ...Sr picks WVU

(5-3) Penn State (-3.5) over Purdue (3-5) ...Sr picks Purdue

(8-0) 12 Louisville (+16.5) over Temple (3-4) ...Sr picks Louisville

(7-1) 10 Clemson (-12) over Duke (6-3) ...Sr picks Clemson

NFL

(4-3) Pittsburgh (+3.5) over NY Giants (6-2) ...Sr picks Pittsburgh

(4-3) Denver (-3.5) over Cincinnati (3-4) ...Sr picks Denver

(5-2) Cleveland (+3.5) over Baltimore (2-6) ...Sr picks Cleveland

(6-1) Houston (-10) over Buffalo (3-4) ...Sr picks Houston
