WPIAL High School Football Predictions: Week 3

Each week from the start of the WPIAL season through the PIAA State Finals, Pittsburgh SportsNation brings you the best, uncensored, no holds barred predictions by our local high school football guru who goes by the moniker “P To The Power of 2”.

He is one of our underground writers who covers the hard hitting action of WPIAL High School Football in Western Pennsylvania. Or is it she...? Either way, we'll never tell! (Unless you have a crisp $100 bill in hand)

By P To The Power of 2

Good Thursday Evening to our followers across the nation! To our dear friends that no longer live in Pennsylvania, they continue to support us weekly!

Welcome our new followers from North Hills! Where Anthony Morrelli sweeps the bleachers after the game!

Question? Who in the hell let West Mifflin dress a 14 year old child play pop-warner standing in at 6’2, 240lbs?!? Are we serious here folks? If West Mifflin wants to dethrone Thomas Jefferson, this certainly is not the way to do it! You should be embrassed!

We received emails this past week from our haters brigade in CV. “It’s not fair to judge us in a down year!” Horseshit! The freeloading drunks on the hill brought this upon themselves with their arrogance. 0-3 is only the start!

Last week, PToThePowerOf2 posted a record of 8 victories and only suffered 2 defeats. This raises our season total higher than the Monongahela river inside Sandcastle to 25 victories and only 5 defeats. 71%. Still not the excellence we are accustomed to issuing our fans! This must cease!

Week “3” is here…..As always, let’s get to work!

Beaver Falls (3-0) hosts Quaker Valley (1-1) Friday, Reeves Stadium, 7pm

Beaver Falls has awoken from their PIAA state championship sleep 2 years ago to face the defending state champ. Beaver Falls crushed Central Valley last week, 41-7. Aliquippa embarrassed Quaker Valley, 59-6. Quaker Valley lost plenty of starters to graduation. Beaver Falls hasn’t played anyone worth while. Toss up on college hill.     Quaker Valley over Beaver Falls

Aliquippa (3-0) host Montour (0-3) Friday, The Pit, 7pm

Montour makes an odd journey in a nonconference matchup with powerhouse Aliquippa. Montour has not won yet this season and was defeated last week by Laurel Highlands, 32-0. Glad that speech from Lou Cerro about “Montour is back and it’s going to be back for a long damn time”. HA! Aliquippa last week was Aliquippa. Schooling Quaker Valley 59-6. This will be another game over by halftime.   Aliquippa over Montour

As for the others…..

Beaver over New Castle
West Allegheny over Peters Township
Blackhawk over Ambridge
Mount Lebanon over Seneca Valley
North Hills over Hampton
North Catholic over Central Valley
Central Catholic over Hempfield
McKeesport over Penn Trafford

Enjoy the lights……see yous next week!
