WPIAL High School Football Predictions: Week Two
Each week from the start of the WPIAL season through the PIAA State Finals, Pittsburgh SportsNation brings you the best, uncensored, no holds barred predictions by our local high school football guru who goes by the moniker “P To The Power of 2”.
He is one of our underground writers who covers the hard hitting action of WPIAL High School Football in Western Pennsylvania. Love him , or hate him, he simply tells it like it is... Or is it she? Either way, we'll never tell! (Unless you have a crisp $100 bill in hand)
By P To The Power of 2
Last week, PToThePowerOf2 posted a record of 11 victories and only 4 defeats. Thus raising the season total to 19 victories, 6 defeats.

Geneva College will host the undefeated contest between the Tigers and the Warriors.

Everyone is talking about Beaver Falls' defense, well, when you play Ellwood City and South Park, it's easy to produce great defensive statistics.

Belle Vernon (2-0) vs Thomas Jefferson (2-0)
The old rivalry between conference foes on Friday between BV and TJ.
The old rivalry between conference foes on Friday between BV and TJ.
Belle Vernon crushed Ambridge last week, 58-0. Thomas Jefferson crushed Ringgold, 48-6.
The game is at Thomas Jefferson.....There are only 2 places in the WPIAL where the home team maybe loses one time per century. That's Thomas Jefferson and Aliquippa.
It's humorous that this is called a rivalry, since Thomas Jefferson has pushed Belle Vernon around like a little brother... last year the Jaguars won 36-14.
They'll do it again.

Class 6A
North Allegheny (2-0) vs Pittsburgh Central Catholic (2-0)
Central Catholic squeaked out a victory over Seneca Valley last week with the clock expiring, 10-7. North Allegheny, a 42-0 win over Norwin.
Last year North Allegheny defeated PCC, 27-3. We were not impressed with PCC last week.
Only 10 points? Seriously?
