Pine Richland embarrassed Wayne(OH) on ESPN last Sunday, 41-0. QB Phil Jurkovec showed why he was worth the trip for ESPN. Phil put on a passing clinic. 3 touchdowns and 238 yards. When these 2 teams played last season, Pine Richland was victorious by a final score of 42-31. Not soo close this time. Pine Richland on a mission. Pine Richland over Mount Lebanon

West Allegheny at Fox Chapel
Fox Chapel last week took Mount Lebanon to the final moments, and fell short, losing 32-27. QB Nicholas Gizzo had 100 yards on the ground and 145 via flight for the Foxes. Bob Palko & Company enter this season with another WPIAL ring. RB Will Weber rushed for 12 touchdowns last season to lead the Indians on the season. Beaver Falls at Aliquippa
The Tigers start the season at “The Pit” versus archrival Aliquippa. Beaver Falls enters the season with PIAA Gold and a walking target on their back. Coach Matsook is out for the Tigers, in is Nardone. Beaver Falls will be hurt by graduation this season. Aliquippa shutdown New Castle last week, 24-0. Soo much for that Hooker kid. Too much hype! Aliquippa will look to avenge it’s only loss last season, that to Beaver Falls, 35-22 at Heinz Field. Quips return to normalcy. Aliquippa over Beaver Falls
