Week 8 is here, wow did that go fast, only 2 weeks remain in the regular season….
 
The PToThePowerOf2 hate train continues to board more passengers as the weeks move along as another 9-1 week posting went on the board last week, thus raising the season total higher than the crime rate in Beltzhoover….. Thru 70 games we have totaled up 58 victories and only suffered 12 defeats…..a staggering 82% victory rate….
 
PToThePowerOf2’s inbox continues to fill up with various emails from supporters and the haters…The love for the supporters will always be recognized, including our new followers from the Peters Township area….as for the haters, that train is full of that shitty powder blue….sold out since day 1….stay classy….or not, because you don’t know what that is….as we stated last week, get a pencil assclown and take seat in PToThePowerOf2’s classroom……

CLASS  ‘AAAA’
 
Mount Lebanon Blue Devils (7-0) vs Woodland Hills Wolverines (7-0)
 
Friday, 730pm from the Wolverna.
 
Mount Lebanon makes a road trip to the Wolverna to battle with the Wolverines for the top spot in the Southeastern Conference.  Woodland Hills finished off another classic last week by defeating West Allegheny on a kickoff return, 22-15.  The Wolverines will be lead into battle by the talented backfield of Jo-El Shaw and Miles Sanders. Between these 2 young men, they have totaled over 1,500 yards and 23 touchdowns.  Mount Lebanon last week defeated North Hills by the score of 35-20. Devils QB Eddie Jenkins has 13 touchdowns and 1,059 yards total this season….a game where no one is looking, all eyes in the district rest on a contest in Gibsonia….last season the Wolverines crushed Mt. Lebanon to the tune of 47-0….does the hangover of last week haunt the Wolverines…..in the 1st half….but they clean it up in the 2nd half….

Central Catholic Vikings (6-1) vs Pine Richland Rams (7-0)
 
Friday, 730pm from the beautiful campus of Pine Richland in Gibsonia , PA.
 
The Quad North Conference presents a dandy here, a rematch of last years WPIAL championship game.  Central Catholic enters this contest by defeating Seneca Valley last week, 38-14 and Pine Richland destroyed Butler , 67-30.  Central Catholic will continue to rely on TB’s Ronnie Jones and Vinny Emanuel. Last week, Jones rushed for 243 yards and scored 3 times.  The Vikings offense is averaging 41 points per game.  Pine Richland continues to ride sophomore QB Phil Jurkovec who has 800 yards rushing and 1,461 yards passing. TB Jimmy Graf has 600 yards on the season. The Rams high scoring offense averages 48 points per game. CLASS ‘AA’
 
Seton-LaSalle Rebels (6-1) vs South Fayette Lions (7-0)
 
Friday, 7pm from South Fayette Highschool
 
Division rivals clash in the Century Conference….Last week The Rebels defeated Valley, 52-36. The Lions of South Fayette continued the winning streak to 39 in a row by clubbing Sto-Rox, 54-8. The Lions have won 50 of its past 51 contests.  South Fayette QB Drew Saxton is upon the 1,000 yard marker this season and he also has 20 touchdowns.  South Fayette is crushing the competition and averaging 52 points per game. TB Hunter Hayes scored two touchdowns last week and rushed for over 100 yards. Seton LaSalle meanwhile is averaging 42 points per game. Rebels QB Nolan Abbiaticci has thrown for 936 yards and 14 touchdowns. Close, but not that close….you catch what we mean…

Aliquippa Quips (7-0) vs Mt. Pleasant Vikings (6-1)
 
Friday, 7pm from the hillside in Mt. Pleasant , which isn’t so pleasant…
 
The rematch of the showdown between 2 of the top teams in Class ‘AA’….these two squads played last year with Aliquippa clobbering the Vikings, 63-14.  Quips are led by QB Sheldon Jeter and TB Kazeon Pugh.  Last week Jeter threw 3 touchdown passes in the Aliquippa romping of Freedom, 43-0.  Mt. Pleasant shutout Charleroi , 42-0.  Vikings QB Johnny Yester has thrown for 12 touchdowns on the season. Let’s be realistic here, who has Mt. Pleasant defeated this season that is noteworthy…that’s right, no one…. Zmijanac’s Quips tune up for that huge contest next week versus county & conference rival Beaver Falls ….
